Compare Y Realty with seven major brokerages and choose what fits the business you want to build.
01 / A CLEARER WAY TO COMPARE
The right brokerage should make sense for your numbers and your day-to-day business.
Compare the split, the fees after you cap, and the tools you'll actually use. Then look at the people who'll help you put it all to work.

02 / THE Y DIFFERENCE IS OUR WHY
We started Y Realty because we believe agents can build better businesses and better lives when they have people who care about their success.
We believe strong relationships are the foundation of a better business. That starts with listening, caring and being there for one another.
To us, leadership means helping others move forward. We share what we know, make room for questions and support each other's growth.
Our goal is a community where agents feel supported in their businesses and their lives, surrounded by people who care about their success.
Our why is to build a community where relationships come first and leadership means helping others grow.
Y Realty agents have access to group rates on healthcare, dental and life insurance to help save money. These group options are available to agents, including those who aren't Area Leaders.
Confirm included services in your market. Custom marketing and concierge work can cost extra. Separate from these agent group insurance options, proposed stock, health contributions and vehicle benefits in the Area Leader program aren't standard agent benefits or guaranteed compensation.

04 / PUT YOUR BUSINESS INTO THE PICTURE
Start with company dollar: the portion of your commission paid toward a brokerage's cap. Then review the additional fees below.
Historical published LPT plan used for illustration; confirm the current agreement.
ESTIMATED COMPANY DOLLAR ONLY
Your annual gross commission $200,000
LPT's company-dollar contribution is $7,000 lower in this example, before other fees.
This is not total brokerage cost or take-home income. Monthly, annual, transaction, post-cap, E&O, royalty and startup fees are excluded. Stock and revenue share aren't deducted.
NEXT: ADD THE OTHER FEES
$149/month solo in the Arizona plan, plus Arizona example: $199 E&O per transaction, capped at $1,499/year. $250 per transaction after cap. Confirm startup and state-specific fees.
YOUR COMPARISON
Monthly: $0. Historical schedule: $500 annual fee from first closing; $195 on core transactions. Partner: 80/20 to a $15,000 cap. Support replies describe a 20% risk fee instead of standard fees below $2,500 GCI; confirm current treatment.
This example uses 20 closed sides at $10,000 commission per side. Historical published Business Builder and Partner figures, not a reverified 2026 fee schedule. Live recruiting pages no longer show these prices. Below $2,500 commission, special rules affect fees and cap credit; calculator comparison is unavailable. Request the current agreement.
Company dollar = brokerage share × annual gross commission, limited to the selected cap. The historical LPT Business Builder example uses $500 × closed sides, limited to $5,000, only when commission is at least $2,500 per side. Lower-commission LPT scenarios are not modeled. Fathom Edge applies a $350 pre-cap minimum per sale; its cap-crossing and post-cap fees are outside this company-dollar calculation. Elevate applies 20% with a $350 minimum per sale and no residential cap. Except for LPT, a zero-commission side is treated as no split contribution in this planning tool; fixed charges can still apply. Results round to the nearest dollar.
Actual closing amounts, referral deductions, cap-crossing rules and anniversary dates can change a statement. Review the signed agreement for a complete cost estimate. No taxes, MLS, association dues, advertising or other operating expenses are included.
05 / BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR MOVE
No. Your production, plan and added fees determine that. A flat-fee plan or lower split can cost less in some situations. Compare the complete written offers, then decide whether the coaching, tools and community are worth the difference for your business.
We couldn't verify a national average for either brokerage. KW uses an 80/20 comparison split, with an $18,000 company-dollar cap and fees drawn from the KW Core office example. Local market-center terms vary; royalty is separate. Compass uses an illustrative 80/20 split with no cap assumed, not a published Compass offer. These defaults let you explore the numbers immediately. Change the fields to match your written agreement.
No. It usually means the commission split ends for the rest of your anniversary year. Transaction, risk, technology, monthly or other charges can continue. The fee rows show what to ask about.
Keep them separate. Revenue share depends on qualifying activity and program rules. Stock can have vesting rules and change in value. Neither is a guaranteed discount on what you'll pay.
Get the full fee schedule for your state and plan. Ask about startup, monthly, annual, E&O, transaction, post-cap, royalty, mentorship, team and exit charges. Confirm which tools and support are included and whether incentives must be repaid when you leave.
